Pianist Caelan Cardello brings his trio to Black Cat for a three-night run of sharp interplay, modern swing, and serious piano fire. A rising New York voice, Cardello has already shared stages and creative spaces with major figures including Christian McBride, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jack DeJohnette, Ravi Coltrane, Paquito D’Rivera, Bruce Hornsby, and Dave Kikoski.

Cardello is one of five finalists in the prestigious APA National Piano Competition, a major jazz piano honor awarded only once every five years. That recognition says what the room will hear: a young artist with command, imagination, and the kind of momentum that points straight toward the future of jazz.

With Eytan Schillinger Hyman on bass and Isaiah Bravo on drums, the Caelan Cardello Trio brings a sound that is elegant, burning, and fully alive in the moment.
